Ideally located in upcoming Haggerston, Arepa & Co. is the natural sequel and stable response to a long established weekend stall in Camden Market. The new venue overlooks Regents’ Canal with a southern aspect thus thoroughly enjoys a grand view and abundant light. Keeping in mind its location, the proposal places the sitting area facing the waterway, and divides the space into a lounge and a dining area. The rear portion of the building is designed to host the bar and the kitchen, which physically opens over it.
The décor is created from honest, reclaimed materials able to mirror the Caribbean magnetic character of the establishment blending it in seamlessly with the popular but funky identity of Haggerston.
