The Langside Avenue semi-detached dwelling has been subject to a full refurbishment. The previous- yet not original- rear extension was demolished and substituted by another element. The latter is an elegant modern addition to the house and accommodates the kitchen and dinning area, now visually integrated to the living room. Its glass external walls allow views into the building, exposing the beautiful original features of the house, thus creating an obvious- still harmonious- division between Edwardian and contemporary components. Finally, the circulation area was reorganised and made more profitable, leaving extra space to the bedrooms.
