This is a four storey detached Victorian property located within the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and is situated in the Pembridge conservation area. The property comprises retail spaces at the ground floor and a two bedroom residential unit on the levels above.
The proposal was to create a double height space and a private mezzanine with an outdoor space. The main challenge was to convert existing dormer window located at the rear of the property into a covered terrace within the same area. Additionally, the property went to different reconfigurations in order to create an open plan. The entire property was renovated and modernised.
